For Youth Ages 14-24

Get Paid. Get Skilled. Get Ahead. In Summer 2026, Prime For Change provided Chicago youth ages 14–24 with paid workforce development opportunities through Chicago Youth Works. Participants gained hands-on training and real-world exposure in AI and technology, sports management, real estate, childcare, and entrepreneurship, while building valuable skills and preparing for future careers.

Prime Future Entrepreneurs

Prime Future Entrepreneurs (PFC), our Chicago Youth Works - Chicagobility program, provided youth ages 14–15 with an immersive job training experience beyond the traditional classroom. Participants were paired with dynamic Leadership Coaches - successful entrepreneurs and community leaders—who guided them through real-world career pathways, including entrepreneurship, AI/technology, childcare, real estate, banking/crypto/stocks, and sports careers. Throughout the program, youth gained hands-on skills and completed the summer with resumes, drone training, Assetpreneur financial literacy certificates, and Wintrust bank accounts.

An Impact Was Made…

Through two Chicago Youth Works cohorts — 6 weeks from June through July, followed by another 3 weeks in August — Coach Bobie, Coach Candi, Coach Breanna, Coach Nikki, and myself gave our time, energy, insight, direction, and heart to the young people we served.

Thank you for the conversations, the encouragement, the lessons, the patience, the laughter, and most importantly, your WILLINGNESS TO SERVE. You helped create an environment where our youth could learn, grow, be challenged, and know that someone was invested in their future.
