At Prime Tech, we bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by introducing young minds to AI, technology, STEM/STEAM, and a wide range of future careers in technology.

Prime Tech is dedicated to empowering youth with access to high-quality education and hands-on training in cutting-edge technology fields. By fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, our 12-week curriculum prepares our participants to become future innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the tech industry.

Program Design & Outcomes

Our programs are designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and prepare youth for exciting opportunities in the ever-evolving tech industry. We introduce participants to App Development, Artificial Intelligence (Ai), and STEM and STEAM career pathways. Our hands-on training is designed to spark curiosity, build technical confidence, and prepare participants for careers in today’s innovation driven economy. Participants are introduced to coding fundamentals and mobile app development, learning how applications are built from concept to launch using beginner friendly programming tools and platforms. Through STEM and STEAM exploration, participants engage in interactive projects such as robotics, digital design, engineering challenges, and problem solving labs that strengthen creativity and critical thinking.

Hands-On Drone Training: Elevate Your Future

We offer cutting edge drone training for youth and young adults ages 14 to 24, equipping them with hands on skills in FAA fundamentals, flight safety, aerial photography, mapping, inspection basics, and entrepreneurship in the fast growing unmanned aviation industry. Participants gain real world experience operating drones, understanding airspace regulations, preparing for the Part 107 exam, and exploring career pathways in media, construction, public safety, logistics, agriculture, and tech innovation. Through industry mentors, project-based learning, and workforce certifications, we ensure participants are not just flying drones but building pathways to high demand, high earning careers in aviation and emerging technology.

Weeks 1–2: Orientation & Foundations

  • Program Introduction: Goals, expectations, and overview of technology careers.

  • STEM/STEAM Basics: Introduction to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

  • Technology Fundamentals: Overview of coding, AI, and emerging technologies.

  • Soft Skills Workshop: Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Weeks 3–4: Coding Fundamentals

  • Programming Basics: Understand programming logic, data types, and variables.

  • Hands-On Practice: Build small programs like calculators or simple games.

  • Debugging and Problem Solving: Introduction to troubleshooting code errors.

  • STEM/STEAM Integration: Apply coding to STEM-based challenges.

Weeks 5–6: Artificial Intelligence Foundations

  • Ai Basics: Understand what AI is and how it works; explore ethical AI and real world use cases.

  • Interactive Coding: AI tools for app integration.

  • Team Collaboration: Work in groups to train a simple Ai model using beginner platforms.

  • Project Milestone: Create an AI powered chatbot concept.

Weeks 7–8: STEM and STEAM Applied Innovation

  • STEM/STEAM Basics: Apply engineering design and scientific inquiry to real world challenges.

  • Soft Skills Workshop: Integrate creativity, problem solving, and technical skills.

  • Team Collaboration: 3D modeling and computer aided design principles; digital media arts including graphic design, motion design, and storytelling in tech.

  • Hands-On Lab: Design a tech solution addressing a community challenge using both engineering and creative branding.

Weeks 9–11: Career Preparation & Real-World Applications

  • Career Exploration: Overview of tech roles like software developer, data analyst, and Ai engineer.

  • Resume Building & LinkedIn Workshop: Create or refine resumes and online profiles.

  • Interview Skills Practice: Mock interviews with feedback.

  • Guest Speaker Sessions: Hear from tech industry professionals.

Week 12: Demo Day & Career Pathway Launch

  • Certificates & Micro-Credentials: Intro to Coding Certificate; Workforce Readiness Certificate; Ai Foundations Badge (“Prime Tech Ai Foundations Credential” awarded upon completion of 20 to 30 hours of Ai instruction, ethical training, and a capstone Ai mini project).

  • Project Presentations: Showcase capstone projects to mentors, family, and community members.

  • Program Ceremony: Celebrate achievements with certificates and recognition.

  • Future Steps: Discuss pathways for continuing education, internships, tech careers, and/or apprenticeship pathways

  • Prime Tech is open to youth and young adults aged 14-24 from underserved communities who are eager to learn about technology and explore careers in the field. No prior experience is required.

  • Yes! Participants may earn industry aligned credentials throughout the Prime Tech pre apprenticeship program, including a Drone Safety Certification demonstrating foundational knowledge of flight operations and aviation safety, an Intro to Coding Certificate verifying competency in programming fundamentals and app development basics, an AI Foundations Badge recognizing understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and ethical application, and a Workforce Readiness Certificate confirming preparation in professional skills such as communication, teamwork, problem solving, and career pathway planning.

  • We provide all necessary materials and equipment for the program, including laptops and software. Participants only need a willingness to learn and a commitment to attend sessions.

  • Prime Tech is led by experienced instructors and mentors who are experts in their fields. They are passionate about sharing their knowledge and guiding participants toward success in tech.

  • Graduates of Prime Tech receive ongoing support through our mentorship network, access to advanced learning opportunities, and assistance with job placement or further education in technology.
